Mission of Westminster Woods

A Christian camp and retreat center dedicated to the glory of God; providing year-round facilities for recreation, WORSHIP, and spiritual growth.

The current chapel is too small and inadequate for today's needs.

What is the need?

• To persevere with God's mission for Westminster Woods, we need your help in the development of a new chapel!
• Does not accommodate the significant growth of youth and adult programs
• Only seats 60 people
• Shows significant signs of deterioration
• Not adequate for today's technological needs

What is the solution?

To build a new chapel that will provide the following:

• Seating for 200
• Room for large camp groups
• Setting for weddings
• Place for special events
• Updated technology for audio/visual presentations

Thank you for your help and prayers throughout the past three years. Photos of the chapel construction on regularly being posted. The chapel building committee, Kenton Cox-SJCF, and Hutton Construction have been working hard to make this beautiful chapel become a reality.

• Friday evening August 27th, 2010 Dedication of the chapel by the Presbytery

How you can help...

Thanks to your contributions and God's provision we met our goal of raising $450,000 to build the chapel. However $50,000 is needed for furnishings such as chairs, audio/video equipment, landscaping and additional funding for an endowment is needed to maintain the chapel.

We want you to be a part of this exciting "chapel chairs" campaign. To furnish the chapel properly we need donations for 200 chairs at $70 per chair. You can donate money for one or more chairs! (or anything you wish!)
